| Jest w Bielsku-Białej wiekowa chata, która nazywa się "Rogata", choć nie ma rogów - przyznać muszę, że bardzo ma rogatą duszę. Dusza rogata i niesforna wypiciu dobrego piwa sprzyja, a kto głodniejąc, traci formę, może zjeść smaczną rybę z kija. Chlebem ze smalcem się uraczyć, upiec kiełbasę przy kominku, na piwko znowu przyjdzie smaczek i wieczór mija niczym chwilka. W miłym klimacie tej idyllii przyjemnie spotkać się, pogwarzyć, nie pożałujesz ani chwili, gdy zajrzeć tutaj ci się zdarzy. |
 It’s difficult to express in words the climate and interior of the Rogata Inn. First time when I visited it, I felt as if I walked through a magical door and entered a totally different epoch. Wooden tables, benches, baskets, dimmed light of cressets on the tables, old-fashioned burning fireplace – it is a real miracle there is such a place where you can feel as in a fairy tale.First architectural plans of the cottage come from 1896 – says the owner of Rogata – the building was built by my great-grandfather around the year 1900. From the family oral tradition I know that during the interwar period there was an inn in here as well. Since the war time until 1995 my family used to live here and for the following four years the cottage was left empty. In 1999 I started redecoration of the building and in April 2000 there was a festive opening of Rogata inn. I am really proud, that in the building of my roots, I can continue my family tradition and make people’s free time pleasant. Staszek Głowacz
